britpop playlist for the summer

Welcome to the new Britpop Bootlegs blog, the place where random stuff about britpop music is posted so we can all remember the good old days. Because of the great weather we’ve been having lately it’s actually starting to feel like a pretty good summer for once, and life is that little bit sweeter when you’re relaxing in the sun, having a beer and listening to some of the best bands from the 90′s we love.
So i’ve decided to put together a play list of songs that remind people of the summer.

Here’s what I’ve got so far …

1. Hundred mile city – Ocean Colour Scene
2. Staying out for the summer – Dodgy
3. Alright – Supergrass
4. Lucky man – Verve
5. Roll with it – Oasis
6. Sandstorm – Cast
7. Hush – Kula Shaker
8. Disco 2000 – Pulp
9. What do you want from me – Monaco
10. Sale of the century – Sleeper
11. Girls & Boys – Blur

I also want help from people, so post your favourite summer songs.
